Therefore, this is one of the best places in Atlantic City to take a leisurely stroll, people watching and enjoying the fresh sea air.
There are also a number of other activities that can be enjoyed along the Boardwalk, such as rollerblading, biking, and jogging.
There is a lot to see and do along the Boardwalk, so it’s impossible to list everything here.
But some of the highlights include the Steel Pier Amusement Park, the historic Jim Whelan Boardwalk Hall, and the Central Pier Arcade and Speedway.

The cruise was about 2 hours long, and we saw several dolphins swimming and jumping alongside the boat.

Although I didn’t have much time to explore the Playground, I did manage to check out a few shops and restaurants.

9. Tour The Jim Whelan Boardwalk Hall
The Jim Whelan Boardwalk Hall is one place in Atlantic City that you definitely won’t want to miss. This historic building dates back to 1929 and was once the world’s largest indoor arena.
Today, Boardwalk Hall is still impressive, with its grand facade and massive interior. It is now used as a convention center and entertainment venue.
The best way to see Boardwalk Hall is to take a guided tour. These tours run daily and last for about an hour.
The tour takes you through the arena’s main floor, where you’ll see where some of the biggest names in entertainment have performed.
You’ll also get to see the famous pipe organ, which is the largest in the world and has been played by some of the most famous organists, including Liberace.
This pipe organ was recently renovated and is now one of the highlights of Boardwalk Hall.
You can hear a free 30-minute concert on the organ every weekday at noon. You don’t want to miss this! So be sure to include this hall in your list of the best places to see in Atlantic City.

I always encourage travelers to learn about the history of their visiting places.
This is one of the best ways to gain a deeper understanding and appreciation of a destination.
So, it’s not always about the partying and casinos when it comes to things to do in Atlantic City.
The Atlantic City Historical Museum is a great place to learn about the city’s rich history.
The museum is located in the historic Jim Whelan Boardwalk Hall and is housed in what was once the city’s main post office.
The museum features a number of exhibits on the city’s history, from its days as a fishing village to its transformation into a world-famous resort town.
You’ll see a variety of artifacts, photos, and documents that tell the story of Atlantic City.
It took me around two hours to explore the museum, and I found it to be very well done.
The highlight, for me, was the exhibit on the Miss America Pageant, which has been held in Atlantic City since 1921. I loved seeing all the old photos and artifacts from this iconic event.

11. Visit the Chicken Bone Beach
Chicken Bone Beach was once a segregated beach for African Americans during racial segregation.
It got its name from unfounded claims that the black beachgoers left behind chicken bones.
This beach was finally integrated in 1964 after the Civil Rights Act was passed.
Today, it is a National Historic Landmark and a popular spot for both locals and tourists. It is also one of the most beautiful beaches in Atlantic City, with its wide expanse of sand and clear blue waters.
This makes it a great spot for swimming, sunbathing, and simply relaxing.

12. Take Your Kids To Storybook Land
For a fun-filled day out with the kids, head to Storybook Land. This family-friendly amusement park is located in Egg Harbor Township, around 20 minutes drive from Atlantic City.
The park is based on classic children’s stories and fairy tales, such as Alice in Wonderland, Little Red Riding Hood, and the Three Little Pigs.
There are over 15 rides and attractions, as well as many shows performed throughout the day. Some of the highlights include the Bubbles the Roller coaster, Tick-Tock Clock Drop, Carousel, and the J&J Railroad.
You can easily spend a whole day here exploring the different themed areas and enjoying the rides and attractions.
And when you’re done, you can also enjoy the park’s other amenities, such as the restaurant and gift shop.
Storybook Land is one of the famous attractions in Atlantic City and is ideal for a family day out.

13. Get Amazed At Ripley’s Believe It Or Not!
We have all seen Ripley’s Believe It or Not! TV show, and now you can visit the weird and wonderful world of Ripley’s in person.
The Atlantic City location is home to over 500 bizarre and interesting artifacts, exhibits, and displays.
And if that’s not enough, there are also a number of interactive games and quizzes to keep you entertained.
Some highlights include a roulette table made of over 14,000 jellybeans, a spider made from knives and scissors, a creepy shrunken head, and the world’s smallest car.
There is a lot to see and do here, so it’s a great place to visit if you’re looking for things to do in Atlantic City with kids.
They will be sure to love all the weird and wonderful things on display.

Most of the exhibits you’ll see include ceramics, paintings, marketing propaganda, and books.
They are all incredibly well-curated and put together. You’ll also see a wide variety of historical artifacts, including furniture, tools, and clothing.
In addition to the permanent exhibits, the museum also features rotating temporary exhibitions.
And being one of the top places to visit in Atlantic City, I recommend taking a couple of hours to explore the museum.
It’s a great way to learn about the African American experience in New Jersey and their contributions to the state.

I don’t know if you knew this, but Atlantic City is home to a number of war memorials.
These memorials serve as a tribute to the brave men and women who have served this country in times of war.
The most popular of these war memorials is the World War I Memorial. This memorial was built in 1922 to honor the soldiers who served in World War I.
The highlight of the memorial is the impressive Rotunda, which houses the Liberty in Distress statue.
Another popular war memorial in Atlantic City is the Korean War Memorial. This memorial was built in 2000 to honor the soldiers who served in the Korean War.
The memorial features a number of sculptures, including a group of soldiers carrying a wounded comrade.

16. Try Your Luck At Hard Rock Hotel And Casino

So, it should come as no surprise that several casinos are spread throughout the city.
But if you’re looking for the best casino experience, you’ll want to head to the Hard Rock Hotel and Casino.
This iconic casino is located in the heart of the Boardwalk and is one of the most popular casinos in town.
The casino features all your favorite table games, such as blackjack, craps, and roulette.
There are also over 2,000 slot machines to choose from, so you’re sure to find your favorite game.
I didn’t have any luck when I was there, but I had a great time nevertheless. And even if you don’t gamble, the Hard Rock Hotel and Casino is worth a visit for its incredible architecture and atmosphere.

This luxury hotel offers everything you could want, from incredible city views to world-class service.
But what really sets the Hard Rock Hotel apart is its incredible spa.
